NEW YORK (AP) _ A young girl severely burned in a fire at her Brooklyn home is the second tot in her family to suffer such a fate; She was named after a sister killed in a similar blaze 15 years ago. The blaze plunged the family into a repeat of the horror they experienced in 1992, when another house fire killed 1-year-old Gabriel Rogers, born to the same Brooklyn couple. Fire officials were investigating the cause of the blaze, but relatives told the News that Gabriela had been playing with a butane lighter. But by the time firefighters arrived, flames had already reached the hallway near the back bedroom where Gabriela was found, fire officials said. More Bedroom News

Having a small bedroom can be quite uncomfortable. After all, your bedroom is the one place where you want to be able to relax and to unwind. If you feel cramped and claustrophobic within your bedroom, you certainly will not be very successful at accomplishing that task! Thankfully, with these tips for decorating small bedrooms, you can make your bedroom feel bigger even if it really isn’t!

One of the first steps you need to take when decorating a small bedroom is to eliminate clutter. Knick-knacks and other items lying throughout the room will break up your line of vision and make the room seem smaller than it really is. In addition, a clutter free space is commonly associated with spaciousness. After all, when you shop in a high-end store, aren’t the aisles spacious and clear? When shopping at a discount outlet, on the other hand, the shelves are crowded and the aisles are difficult to maneuver. Keep the same concept in mind when decorating your bedroom.

When decorating small bedrooms, you should also make use of mirrors as much as possible. Since mirrors reflect the images from the bedroom, they will create the illusion that the bedroom continues in the other direction. By adding a full length mirror to your closet door or to the back of the doorway leading out of the bedroom, you can create a more spacious look while also giving yourself a tool to help you when getting dressed in the morning!

Light colors are always good when decorating small bedrooms. You can always use trim or colored bedding to bring more color into your bedroom, so don’t be afraid to use light colors for your walls and floor. Not only will this make your room look more spacious, it will make it easier for you to change the look of your room when you become bored with the color scheme you currently have!

I have never been quite sure who Carmen’s audience for these DVDs were, women who need to workout and put the spark back into their sex life at the same time, or horny men. If you need the aerobic part of this maybe that is the reason you lost the “spark” in the first place. I suggest women put on the DVD so their husbands can see it while they bang them, that may help get the old romance back up and running again. Nobody was at the residence when the fire began, and no injuries were reported, according to the Newport Beach Fire Department. Twenty Newport Beach firefighters responded to the fire, which firefighters speculate was started by an electrical device, but the cause is still under investigation, according to Fire Department officials.
